This blog started as a place to share my fitness journey (the struggles and triumphs) as well as healthy meals and tips. It is challenging to be a mom of three and finding time to eat healthy and workout, but it is possible and addicting!
About the Blogger:
I’m a stay at home mom with 3 beautiful children under the age of 7. I hadn’t always been interested in fitness. In fact, I was the person who stayed far away from physical activity most of my life!!
After my third was born, I was the heaviest I have ever been and had a low self-esteem. I decided to take charge of my life once again and lose the weight that I gained with my pregnancies. Since my youngest was only 3 months old and were living off of one income, I was unable to join a gym. I looked for online programs and found Turbo Fire. I started on my birthday and felt results within weeks. I was finally breaking my old habits and starting new ones! It was then that I fell in love with fitness. I felt so much better about myself as a person and started to be confident in my own skin for the first time in my life!
For the first year of my fitness journey, I was a cardio bunny! I loved cardio and hated weightlifting. Two weeks into my second Insanity round, I had to have an emergency surgery on my appendix. I was unable to do any type of cardio due to the surgery so I started lifting weights. And started to love weightlifting! Lifting heavy really was changing my body!!
I am currently completing my first round of Body Beast!
